I don’t know about you but I love me a good view. Whether it’s natural or man made, I always like the opportunity to ravel at the wonders of both God and Man.
There are some places I would like to visit that have amazing views but here are a few memorable places I’ve been:
Table Mountain, Cape Town, South Africa
Each time I remember Cape Town, I never get over how beautiful it is. Forgive me if I sound like a broken record but I’m still dazed over the natural beauty of this city. A trip to Cape Town in my opinion is incomplete without a visit to table mountain. I mean, how dare you miss such amazing views!!! You’ll get a snapshot of the city and its beautiful beaches, Robben Island and of course, the ocean. It is completely divine and to die for!
Topkapi Palace, Istanbul, Turkey
This palace grounds unexpectedly gave room for amazing views to die for. I had the opportunity to marvel at this ancient city and its iconic characters thanks to four great empires in the past. It was totally worth it.
Empire State Building, New York City, USA
Empire state building was at a point in time the tallest building in the world. With 102 floors, it stands tall among other sky scrapers in Midtown Manhattan. The observatory deck on the 86th floor gives you access to view the Big Apple from an awesome vantage point.
KICC, Nairobi, Kenya
I love Nairobi! In my mind, I sort of consider it as a second home due to some strong bonds I’ve formed with a few of its citizens who are practically like family. On my first visit there, I had intended to visit the KICC helipad but it was closed due to an ongoing function at the conference center. The next time I was in the city, I made it a point of duty to visit. 400KES (as at the time of my visit in 2015) is all it will cost to catch a glimpse of the city and I must say, it’s absolutely worth it.
Victoria Falls Bridge, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
The beautiful views of Victoria Falls from the bridge is nothing short of amazing. You can view the falls sandwiched between the lush green hills of the gorge. And the best part is, it’s free.
Where in the world has amazing views that you’ve been to?
